Everyday at our stores customers come in and say they have a Vacuum make called “any-name” and ask if we can get a specific machine part for it. Not as easy as you think without the MODEL number!  Many of the manufacturers have the same name for their vacuum but up to 40+ machines carrying that same name.  For an example lets use the Eureka company Boss name. The Boss name is used for a great deal of their canisters and uprights from the 1980’s to present. Impossible to find the schematic without the model number for the correct part.  Similar looking vacuums still have different configurations. It would be a guessing game with wrong results many times. Use your smart phone and take a picture of the model identification on the back or bottom of the vacuums and then it will always be with you! No smart phone- write it down on a card and bring it with you or have it when you call. Saves time and frustration for you and that makes you a happy customer if we can get the correct part for you the first time.
